Lars escapes with Alisa and the two begin a journey to discover their origins, meeting and fighting several previous Tekken characters. During an operation, Lars stumbles across a sleeping female cyborg, identifying her as Alisa Bosconovitch, and G Corporation forces attack, starting a fight and causing an explosion that kills almost everyone present at the scene and leaves Lars with amnesia. Meanwhile, among the ranks of the Tekken Force, a young soldier named Lars Alexandersson has begun a rebellion to slowly dismantle the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation in order to put an end to the war. Jin's response is to announce The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 in order to battle Kazuya and crush G Corporation. Now in charge of G Corporation, having usurped the company following its previous leaders' failure to use and then dispose of him, Kazuya is seen as the only force who could oppose Jin and places a bounty on Jin's head for anyone who can capture him. His biological father, Kazuya Mishima, is aware of this and finds Jin's interference in his own plans for global domination to be a nuisance. ![]() This action plunges the world into an extremely chaotic spiral, with a huge-scale civil war erupting around the globe and even amidst the space colonies orbiting the planet. ![]() Using his resources within the organization to become a global superpower, he severs the Mishima Zaibatsu's national ties and openly declares war against all nations. It will be great to see what the development team can do on a new engine that utilizes the latest NVMe SSD technology found in the current-generation consoles for an experience that blows older games out of the water.Following his victory in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, Jin Kazama, the new King of Iron Fist, has taken charge of the Mishima Zaibatsu and now appears to possess tyrannical ambitions. There’s still a lot of love and support for the blood and gore fighter, especially given the success of the live-action and animated movies that have come out since the game’s release.Īs a series veteran who plays her fair share of fighting games, my biggest hope for Mortal Kombat 1 is that the brutality and speed which made earlier games so effortlessly enjoyable come back in full force. While the framerate stays at a rock solid 60fps on Xbox Series X and PS5, the character moves more slowly than in the older games. Mortal Kombat 11 is more deliberately paced than its 20 predecessors. It all comes down to the speed of the game. Which, while visually stunning, was mechanically a departure from what made the previous entry, Mortal Kombat X so enjoyable to play. ![]() It’s been just shy of four years since Mortal Kombat 11.
